Great location, nice rooms and common areas. The only negative issue is that one of the two toilets on the second floor was out of service during our stay. Felipe is a great host, extremely helpful and friendly.

A very nice house at a superb location. Big (double)room with a brilliant view on the city and ocean. Clean bathroom and showers (we did not have hot water, but that was being taken care of immediately after reporting it to the owners. The best breakfast in weeks!

Excellent location, couldn´t think of a better place to stay. The hosts were amazing and so helpful, didn´t realise that brekkkie was included. This B&B has a privileged location in Cerro Alegre, with a great panoramic view of Valparaiso bay, and very friendly and helpful hosts. Highly recommendable.

Casa Kreyemberg is best hostel i've been. The staff is very very considerate, they gave me too much information about the city and many options of places to visit (a thing that has not happened in Santiago, for example)and make you feel like in your home. I can't say enough good things about Casa Kreyenberg. For one thing there can't be a better view in all of Valparaiso. The couple who run the place are helpful and charming, and she speaks fluent English, he a bit. I can't say enough good things about Casa Kreyenberg. For one thing there can't be a better view in all of Valparaiso. The couple who run the place are helpful and charming, and she speaks fluent English, he a bit. Although it is up in the cerros there are plenty of buses and collectivos to get you up and down the hills if you don't want to walk. It is also located in an area full of cafes and shops and one can walk down to the ascensor Concepcion and be right downtown in the harbor area. If you aren't looking for frills but the real deal, this is the ideal place.

Had a great stay here - Pablo and Lucia are wonderful hosts, very welcoming and friendly, and even put on a barbecue for us on our second night, so we chatted, ate and drank for hours with them and another travelling couple. Room 3 that we stayed in has an amazing view across the bay and a small shared balcony. The walk down into town takes you past very nice restaurants, bars and artisan shops, and if the climb back up looks daunting, there are very cheap convenient bus (micro) and taxi (collectivo)services. Great breakfasts.
