Getting there
The island of Aegina is located in the Saronic Gulf It is a ‘hop-in' island, the trip taking only 35 minutes by flying dolphins and 70 minutes in the ferry from Piraeus,the main port Of Greece, and Athens, the Capital of the country.
When you arrive at Piraeus main port you will find several boats for Aegina island and also the Flying Dolphins ( hydrofoils )and also a Catamaran service. The most of the boats are going dicectly to Aegina;s main port , a few to Souvala port and also there is a boat going directly to Agia Marina post (at the summer season). The time that takes to get to Aegina from Piraeus depends on the speed of the boat , it varies from 35 min. to 1 hour 20 min. Be sure to check the destination of the boat .
