It`s a typical backpacker place. It is not my favorite place. Small rooms, a lot of water on the bathroom floor after showering and from the toilet. However, the location is great and the staff spoke english well.

The hotel is very centrally located however, could do with a bit more of an update in the room furniture. The room booked on Gomio doesnt clarify if the room was aircond or fan. I was expecting an aircond room. The room i was in was like an oven, much much hotter than the corridor and even in the sun and the fan doesn't help...

I was expecting an aircond room. The room i was in was like an oven, much much hotter than the corridor and even in the sun and the fan doesn't help, you cannot do without an aircond room. Perhaps a better idea is to put all room with air conds and fans and the guest can then choose.

Good central location, good internet access, room and ensuite small but adequate, basic but reasonable value.

The pictures of the rooms give you a better impression of the place, although the common areas are great. We saw a few bugs inside our room and found the room a little tinned than we thought. You'll forget about all of the above when u take a look at other places rates.

I've been robbed, my room was NEVER cleaned or made up (even if I stayed for several days). There's more, but... what for? Just choose some other place to stay...

Had a terrible night's sleep at this place due to the lack of windows and disco over the road (at a hostel). The staff had problems understanding English - especially when I said that I had already paid a deposit and had to pay again (I gave up in the end). Had a terrible night's sleep at this place due to the lack of windows and disco over the road (at a hostel). The staff had problems understanding English - especially when I said that I had already paid a deposit and had to pay again (I gave up in the end). The Tea & Coffee there is purely ornamental - no cups, hot water or milk (even when you ask it never arrives). The rooms are like prison cells. Probably one of the worst hostels (I've stayed in over 50) I have ever stayed. Do not even stay on the same road - unless you love staying up until gone 4am partying.

Some rooms are better than others so ask to see them. The air conditioning in the dorm room was nice. Great location, and staff were awesome

When we booked we had sent an email to get a room with AC - but when we got there it wasn t available - but they switched us the next day to a room with AC. It is in a very nice neighborhood - a LOT of hostels are around - so it s pretty loud - but we didn t mind. Good place to party!

Atmosphere: People didn't really hang out in the hostel. // Cleanliness: Clean bed linen and towel, superficially clean floor (superficially = dead cockroach under the wardrobe). // Security: Access only after release buzzer, lockers next to reception available. // Staff: No complaints, apart from their tour recommendations, see below. // Facilities: Free internet (from 8:30 until late evening), no hot water, breakfast included (scrambled eggs, bread roll, arepa, very white coffee, corn drink), drinks sold at reception at fair prices. // Location: In the neighbourhood of many other hostels, just minutes by foot to the historic centre. // Value for money: Perhaps can be cheaper, perhaps can be better. // Additional comment: Don't do the boat trip to the Islas del Rosario that is offered by Marlin, you pay a lot and see and get very little for it. The trip to the Vulcán de Lodo was much better, though (also offered by Marlin, but done by a different company).

Everething works great. Staff is helpfull. Breakfast is simple and filling, cafe con leche instead drops few points because it´s very thin. Also milk and sugar has been added before you´ll get your coffee. So you can´t mix it like you want!!! We recommend this hotel!!! Heikki and Lotta
