Rio Hostel Ipanema
Address: Rio Hostel Ipanema, Rua Caning 18, Casa 1, Ipanema, Rio de Janeiro. ATTENTION - there is no sign at the entrance. The hostel is in a narrow street close by a green gate. Buzz arrow + 101 to open the door, walk a bit, the hostel will be on your left side, behind a blue gate.

From the international airport:
Taxi: 30 minutes ride, don't get ripped off ! (R$ 60,00) Bus: 40 minutes, catch the airport bus (Real bus) to Ipanema, get off at the first stop on Av. Viera Souto (the beach front), turn right into Rua Rainha Elisabeth, Rua Caning is the 3rd road on your right, the hostel is half way down the road, on the right side.

From the bus station Novo Rio:
Taxi: 15/20 minutes (R$ 30,00) Bus: Catch bus 128 and get off in Ipanema, at Praça General Osório (a big squere, you cannot miss it). Walk back towards the supermarketZona sul, turn right into Rua Tereza Aragao and then turn left into Rua Gomez Carneiro. Rua Caning is the first road on your right, the hostel is half way down the road on your left.

From Santos Dumont Airport (National airport)
Taxi: 15 minutes (R$20,00) Bus: Catch the airport bus (Real bus) to Ipanema, get off at the first stop on Av. Viera Souto (the beach front), turn right into Rua Rainha Elisabeth, Rua Caning is the 3rd road on your right, the hostel is half way down the road, on the right side.
