From the Airport: The best and easiest option is to take a taxi. Depending on the time, it should cost between 30-40 Reais.

Directions for Taxi: Simply show or tell the driver our street address and they will know where to go. A cheaper option is the 'Real' bus. Walk out of the arrivals lounge, take a right past the waiting taxis and look out for the aiport bus stop. It costs around 6 Reais and the driver speaks English. It goes along the main beach road of Copacabana - 'Avenida Atlantica' . Ask to stop at the Copacabana Palace Hotel. Then you walk down the street 'Rodolfo Dantas' up to the Cardeal Arco Verde metro station, pass the station and turn right after the gas station. You will see the street 'Rua Guimaraes Natal' you should walk until you see the Chacrinha park, it is the house number 12 up the park street. A big green and yellow house with a bamboo fence. It is easy to see! From the Bus Station: Again the best and easiest option is to take a radio taxi from just outside the bus station. You pay a fixed fee at the counter. It will cost about 20 Reais to get to Copacabana.

It's cheaper but takes much longer. It costs 4 Reais and the driver speaks English. Walk past the taxi rank just outside the station and wait for the bus at the side of the road opposite. They run every 15 minutes and will stop on the main beach road (Avenida Atlantica). Ask to stop at the Copacabana Palace Hotel. Then you walk down the street 'Rodolfo Dantas' up to the Cardeal Arco Verde metro station, pass the station and turn right after the gas station. You will see the street 'Rua Guimaraes Natal' you should walk until you see the Chacrinha park, it is the house number 12 up the park street. A big green and yellow house with a bamboo fence. It is easy to see! Alternatively, walk over to the other side of the station and walk across the road, past the taxis, and catch any bus to 'Copacabana', most of which run along 'Rua Barata Ribeiro'. Get off at the Cardeal Arcoverde square (by the subway station). Go behind the station and turn right next to the gas station. You will see the street 'Rua Guimaraes Natal' you should walk until you see the Chacrinha Park, it is the house number 12 up the park street. A big green and yellow house with a bamboo fence. You will see it easily.
