In the beggining of the 90's, a young saltenian was travelling around Europe, so he learn out something about hostels, and he starts dreaming about opening one in Salta. When he come back to Salta, alter some years travelling, he opens a small house in the centre of the city, with only 20 beds, as a kind of accommodation known in the north of Argentina. A few years later, it becomes member of Hosteling International, known as a referent of this kind of accommodation.

Today Backpacker's is a consolidated company, with professional structure and operating, prepared to give accommodation to more than a hundred travellers per day, giving them all they need to make their stay unforgettable. The years went by, we grew up, we get better, but the essence is still the same than in the beginning.
