Hostel LagunaPark Cabarete
Hostel Laguna Park is located in Pro Cab (Cabarete), Calle Castillo. The hip little surfer town Cabarete is located on the North coast of DR. 15km from the International Airport La Union Puerto Plata (POP). By Car: With the car easy accessible, it takes a 25min. drive from the airport to Cabarete and 5 min more to reach the Hostel from the Center of the town. As you reach Cabarete, you keep on going on the main road, until you see the Entrance op PRO CAB to the right. It has a big sign that says ?PRO CAB?, as well as our Banner and a gate, which the guards will open for you. Once you get into Pro Cab, you keep on following the street which makes a turn to the right and after you just continue straight for like 500m until the end of the road. On the way you will find your direction marks, which tell you 300m, 200m, 100m until you can already see the LagunaPark Hostel. By Bus: There is not really a Bus from the airport. What you can do as a experienced DR traveler, if you don?t have a lot of luggage, you can walk from the Airport to the main road. Which will take you about 10min. from there you can take one of the public transportations (Mini Bus "GuaGua? or Taxi ?Carrito?). You just keep on standing on the side of the road and stop them by ?hitch hiking?. If you catch a Minibus you can go until Cabarete directly what will cost you only 50Pesos (prices can variant). If you catch a ?Carrito? you can take a ride until Sosua, which will cost you around 30Pesos (prices can variate). In Sosua you have to change the vehicle, take another ?Carrito? or ?GuaGua? that drive to Cabarete, that will cost you another 25Pesos. To get off you just tell the Driver ?hasta el entrada ProCab Cabarete, por favour?. They will let you out exactly in front of the Gate. From there you can either walk, witch will take you about 10min. or take a Motoconcho (Motorbiketaxi), for another 20Pesos. To arrive via public transportation is the cheapest way, but also takes the longest time and you should be a experienced traveler. By Taxi: To get to our HOSTEL from the Airport by Taxi is the easiest way and also affordable, only 30US$. As you get out of the Airport, you find Taxis already waiting outside the arrival gate. The prices are fixed and so you don?t have to be afraid to get ripped off. 30US$ not more is what they charge you and the Taxi will be driving you directly to our HOSTEL. Just tell the driver ?llevame a Cabarete, Pro Cab Hostel Laguna Park. If you already made a reservation with us, we are able to send you our reliable Taxi driver. Just let us know what time you arrive and he will be there waiting for you. Price is the same, 30US$!
