This hostel feels more like a large hotel. With so many guests, staff have little time to provide directions or offer sightseeing advice. There are no organized day tours, and the staff did not inform me that a free walking tour left from a near-by hostel (I found out from fellow travelers). Many people had difficulty using the digital key-wristbands and as a result, room doors were propped open during much of the day. Showers must be held on, there is no way for a continuous water stream. There is only one temperature setting. The common room is historic and beautiful, and bedrooms are in good repair. Bottom bunks are quite small, though.

I did not have such a machine so this was not a problem of mine.
