Stayed 3 nights in the hostel. It was nice and clean, excellent value for money.
You must try the Pakistani kebab shop just across the street next to the pharmacy, I have never had more authentic pakistani food ever and excellent value for money as well. Me and my friend had our dinner there every night for just 10-15 euros.

The location is amazing, la rambla, placa espanya, beach, almost everything is just a short walk away.

This was a great hostel my two friends and I stayed at. It seemed a little bit more family oriented, but the place was very clean, came with free Wi-Fi, and the room was much larger than any other 3 person hostel room we stayed in. The mattresses weren't the best, but it's proximity to the metro and Las Ramblas more than made up for that. The only 2 problems I had were that the breakfast (for 5 euro) really wasn't at all worth the money, and we had a little trouble dealing with some rude staff. Overall though I recommend this hostel as a place to stay in Barcelona.

the most disturbing thing was the noise coming from the road.. the pc could also be a lot more user friendly.. breakfast is superb and if it was included in the price then there would be 5 stars in "value for money".. people working there are very helpful and pleasant.. 4 out of 5 in general by me :-)

great location in up-and-coming area.... close to the main action but far enough away for some peace and quiet.
