David d. 2010/08/15	Potentially the best hostel in the world. Such a great vibe, almost more like a home where we are all family.. definitely the place to stay in Lagos to meet people and party hard. And no matter how hungover you are the next day, Mama will look after you!! Briony l. 2010/08/01	This hostel was okay but didn't have the atmosphere I expected. Lots of Australians stay at this hostel so if you are trying to avoid them then I wouldn't recommend. The home cooked crepes in the morning were really good. Free internet was also a bonus. The shower facilities were not all that clean and we caught bed bugs... FROM THE BUS STATION:

Once you get off the bus head straight towards the marina. Take a right once you get to the main avenue of Lagos (Avenida dos Descobrimentos). You will walk past a Repsol Gas Station, fresh fish market and taxi stand. Keep on walking until you reach the Public Parking Lot on your right hand side. Take a right after the parking lot and walk to the end of the street. To the left is a restaurant called "Cervejaria Dois Irmaos". Turn right and walk straight until you reach "The Snack bar" (left hand side). From the "The Snack bar" cross the street and take the pedestrian walkway. Continue up the street, you will see Three Monkeys Bar up on your right. Turn left on the street before 3 Monkeys. You will pass a hemp shop and take a right after passing a small bakery on the corner. Turn to your left then turn right and go up the other street. There will be a small supermarket, and the hostel is after this on the right, just press the buzzer on the big red door and someone will let you in.

Driving from the Faro Airport to Lagos

Take EN 125 direction Portimão /Lagos. After about 6 km take the exit marked A 22 for Lisboa / Portimão/ Albufeira

Stay on A 22 for about 80 kilometers until you see signs for Lagos. Be careful not to take the exit marked L
