The Paintshop Hostel is Figueira da Foz's first and only international Backpackers, located in a traditional Portuguese town house, a stone's throw from the bars, clubs and beaches of Portugal's popular Atlantic surfing resort.

First seen on the UK channel 4 TV show 'A Place in the Sun', we offer private double rooms, twin rooms and 2, 4 or 6 bed dorms.

You can cater for yourselves in our well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, or fill up on delicious food and local vinho at the many nearby bars and restaurants. If you feel like staying in and relaxing we have heaps of DVDs and satellite TV, or maybe take some money off your fellow travellers on the pool table!
