Getting to Private Rrooms from the main train and bus station:
1.) Take tram no. 2 or bus no. 502. If you go by tram you should get off at the 3rd stop, if you are going by bus, then get off at the 2nd stop. In both cases the stop is called "Filharmonia." Follow Floriana Straszewskiego Street (just proceed straight) and take the second turn (if you came by train) or the first (if by bus) to the right. It is Plac na Groblach, and we're here at no.8.
To get to the city from the bus station walk through the adjacent train station to the square in front.
2.) If you have some time to spare (about 20 - 30 minutes) the weather is nice and you're not weighed down by a gigantic backpack, why not walk here It is a nice stroll and will give you a good first look at the city.
3.) Walk through the pedestrian subway towards the city center. Take the exit straight ahead, and after reaching the top of a hill, continue walking to the left. The path goes via Planty (the park stretching around the main square area.) After a while you'll see Dominikanska Street (with tram tracks) crossing the Planty. Take it to the right. Follow Dominikanska and continue as it turns into Franciszkanska until it crosses Straszewskiego Street. Turn left onto Straszewskiego. The First turn on the right is Plac na Groblach. You'll find our hostel here at no.8

Getting to hostel with dorms from the Main Train Station and Bus Station:
Take tram No.13 and get off at second stop called 'Starowislna'. Cross the street to your right. Follow Dietla St. The first turn on the right is Józefa Sarego St. The hostel is here at No. 24.
* to get to the city from the bus station walk through adjacent train station to square in front of it.
If the weather is nice, it might be a more pleasant to walk along Westerplatte and Sw. Gertrudy Street. The Path goes via Planty (the park stretching around the Main Square area). If walking this way, make sure you don't miss Sarego Street. You'll know you've reached it when you see the Deutche Bank which is just to the left of the turn onto Sarego.
Getting here... from the airport:
Train:
Take the train from the airport and get off at the main railway station. Follow the instructions given above.
The train leaves every 30 minutes, costs 4 PLN. The whole journey takes 15 minutes.
Bus:
Take bus no. 192 and get off next to the lower platform of the main bus station (Dworzec Glówny Wschód). Follow the instructions given above - the journey takes 45 minutes.
