We invite you to visit The Historical Museum of the City of Cracow "Cracow in the years 1939-1956" - The Martyrological Museum The Branch of Historical Museum of the City of Cracow is situated at 2 Pomorska Street which was established in 1981. It's main objective is the preservation of the historical place of martyrdom of manythousands of Poles and Jews during Second World War .

 The Gestapo prison cells in Cracow, where many Polish patriots were detained are the evidence of the tragic days of the Nazi occupation in 1939-1945. The pernament exhibition entitled "Cracow in  1939-1956" illustrates the most important eventsof the history of this city during this period.
