Loved the hostel experience! Stayed in an 18-bed room and really enjoyed the atmosphere.

This was the second time I stayed there and overall I wasn't disappointed! The staff are friendly, it's clean, rates are cheap and the breakfast is good value for money! The only downfall was that the pool table wasn't level, which made it a bit difficult to play! Other than that 10/10. Would go back again!

This is the perfect place to have good time in the center of the city, everything is very clean and the atmosphere is absolutely cool. And it's cheap, what else ?

This was probably the worst hostel I've ever stayed at. Situated around the corner from the red light district and surrounded by 'coffee shops' the area was not only dangerous but filthy and smelly. This was probably the worst hostel I've ever stayed at. Situated around the corner from the red light district and surrounded by 'coffee shops' the area was not only dangerous but filthy and smelly. You could walk 15 minutes in any direction and the rest of Amsterdam was beautiful and very different. The hostel itself was dirty an had a very dank smell on all the floors. I think it was because people would not only smoke downstairs in the bar but also upstairs in the dorm rooms I had quite a horrible experience with the other people in the dorm as not only did they drink and smoke in the room but they would come in during many intervals during the night (2am, 5am and 7am), turn all the lights on and continue their conversations for hours. I suppose you should expect that when booking a large dorm however it was too much. The only consolation was that the one receptionist at the desk was kind enough to help me change rooms. At €27 for rh cheapest bed, look somewhere else and spend your hard earned money more wisely!

25 euro ppn is a limit as travelling in couple where you can get double room in hotel from 60e. However the atmosphere of this one is unbeatable. And everything is just behind the corner. Keep this prices and I'll be coming back at each city visits.

We (1 guy & 3 girls) stayed for three days in this hostel and were very happy about our choice. The staff was always friendly, helped us out & tried to answer every question we had. The room we had was very clean (although a bit smelly), with a nice view, the beds were typical hostel beds (nothin to complain about as long as you are not a princess) and the hostel itself was perfectly located at the beginning of the red-light-district. It's perfect if you wanna stay a couple of days in Amsterdam, so enjoy your stay!

This was the first hostel I have stayed at but I have a few comments: - Staff was very friendly and were fun to talk to - Although it is a youth hostel, any age is welcome at this hostel, and many old people were at the hostel when I was there. This was the first hostel I have stayed at but I have a few comments: - Staff was very friendly and were fun to talk to - Although it is a youth hostel, any age is welcome at this hostel, and many old people were at the hostel when I was there. Dont think they should call it a youth hostel. - My sheets had an old stain on them from a previous male ejactulation...although the comforter had been cleaned...still very gross to see. - After 2am people were permitted to smoke pot in the bar. Seemed to that smoking pot was the main focus for many people at the hostel. Smoking room was pretty much always packed. - Wifi internet was okay...pretty slow and was difficult to connect to at times...I think it was due to one of the empolyees, old currley gray hair guy who works there was sucking the band width down with World of Warcraft. - Hot water in shower would not turn-on had to go to a different floor to take a shower. - Right next to Centraal Station, Red Light District, and a ton of coffeeshops. Pretty good location....if you are are there for measuems I would stay somewhere else like Liedsplien or west canal.
