This hotel should be rate as hostel. We booked a 6 bed room but they gave us 10 beds room for same price, the room is packed! This hotel should be rate as hostel. We booked a 6 bed room but they gave us 10 beds room for same price, the room is packed! Imagine 10 people have to share the only bathroom & the shower head is not work properly. The girls at reception especially the asian girl is really rude & show her xxx to me when I ask her question. It's far from the city & inconvenient. The only good thing is the breakfast. I won't go back again.

I only chose to stay here because they were the only place available. The night staff wasn't helpful when I had an issue with my bathroom and were actually quite rude about it. The only redeeming quality of this place was the included breakfast.

At the chek-in we had some problems with our booking. We had canceled one night and the booking for our group members was divided on different names as well. The young lady at the reception seemed nervous and a little stressed out. However after having cleared that we had a nice time in Amsterdam. The room is really good value for money. We had quite some flies in the room in mid-March, though. Breakfast was excellent (slices of roastbeef! cheese, good coffee, tea, etc. everything was there). The distance to central station is rather 20-25 minutes by bus, we didn't try out the tram. There is public transportation next to the hostel. Tickets can be bought in the tabac-store near-by. Anfangs gab es einige Probleme wegen unserer Buchung, da wir eine Nacht storniert hatten und auf mehre Namen gebucht hatten. Die junge Frau am Empfang wirkte etwas überlastet und gereizt. Nachdem das geklärt war, war wirklich alles super! Das Zimmer war für den Preis absolut ok. Wir waren Mitte März da und es gab allerdings einige Fliegen im Zimmer. Das Frühstück war exzellent (Roastbeefscheiben!, Käse, usw, mehrere Toastbrotsorten, Vollkorn-Brötchen, Müsli, trinkbarer Kaffee, Tee, etc.)! Die Entfernung zum Hauptbahnhof schätze ich eher auf 20-25 Minuten ein. Tickets für den Öffentlichen Nahverkehr gibts beim Tabak-Laden nahe der Bushaltestelle in 2 Minuten Gehentfernung.

Staff were helpful with any request we put to them. only negetive point is the distance to the town centre, my advice to anyone staying here is not to attempt to walk it! took us over an hour when we tried.
