Really good facilities, especially the bar where people can meet every night, as well as the free slice of pizza every night! Sofia 2010/03/06	Perfect location (right next to the train station, so even if u arrive by plane, the bus from the airport will leave you very near the hostel). Dommage que la direction ne soit pas plus stricte sur la discipline. Il a fallut que j'intervienne (à 5 a.m.) pour que quelqu'un de l'auberge demande le calme. Après une journée de visite, vous aimez rentrer dormir au calme (en acceptant le bruit jusqu'à des heures normales). Mais ici c'était de trop. Conseil : un réglement d'ordre intérieur mieux respecté. Across the street there is two decent restaurants to grab something cheap and tasty. Oh yeah, also worth mentioning...True to Roman architechture...Allessandro Palace has lots of stairs...an' no elevator(that I knew of)..That can get troublesome on the kness...Think of yerself as "Rocky", "flyin'high now", when yer runnin' piano 3 or 4 to yer bunkdown...Gets ya past some of the ache of it. Caroline 2010/02/05	We stayed 3nights and had to change rooms each night which seemed stupid. The shower on the first night overflowed. The bathroom on the second night smelt disgusting. There is no free wifi only 30mins Internet a day. The staff were really nice which was a plus. From Termini station:

Alessandro Palace Hostel is located within a 5 minute walking distance from Termini train station. It's very easy to reach the hostel ! :

   1. Exit Termini Station by Track No.1 (with the train tracks at your back, track No.1 is on the right hand side of the station).
   2. Make a left on Via Marsala, and then take your first right down Via Vicenza.
   3. Continue down Via Vicenza, until you reach #42 (on the left side of the street).

From Fiumicino Airport (Leonardo da Vinci): 

    * Follow the signs for "ai treni" to  the platform, buy a ticket for the non-stop train to Termini (Leonardo Express). You can purchase from either the ticket window, vending machines, or tobacco store near the platform. Leonardo Express leaves every 30 minutes.

Duration: about 30 minutes
One way ticket: 14 Euros (Aug'11)

IMPORTANT Don't forget to validate your ticket with the little orange or yellow boxes before you get on the train!

• If you take a taxi, it is highly recommended to take it from official airport taxi stand, not private ones. Duration: about 30-40 minutes (depends on traffic situation)
