Podere Le Cave is a Bed and Breakfast located just a stone's throw away from Florence. The ambience is so lovely and idyllic, which makes it impossible not to fall in love with this place. So close to Florence City in between Olivetrees and vineyards you may enjoy the panoramic view from our pool. Even during the hot summer month the air circulation in this area is effectual to enjoy staying outside underneath our pergola. Sit back, relax let yourself be accomodated and coddled by Dante and Mariella around the unique landscape of the Italian Chianti.

Our guests are international but once they have been arrived at our bed and breakfast they soon start to feel like a part of this wonderful area. They experience the breathtaking landscape of tuscany and get to feel a part of historical country live.

The Podere is located in between the unique hills of Florence and the village of Impruneta. To Florence Center it is only 9 Km ( 5,6 miles ) and even the airport "Amerigo Vespucci" is located very close, 15 Km ( 9,3 miles).

On one single day there is lots of leisure time activitys to be chosen: you may be, going to the Florence city centre to visit museums, monuments and beautiful renaissance churches, or enjoy the green colour of a golf course, relaxing during a horse ride, doing a mountain bike excursion or simply lie around the swimming pool of this B&B, planning tours to Chianti, Siena (60km, 37,5 miles), the towers of S.Gimignano (40km, 25 miles) or even go up to Pisa (90km, 56,25 miles).

Our bedrooms are very comfortable and quiet, like a real nostrum for all guests especially those who come from big cities. It is possible to socialize with other guests, having lunch or dinner together in the open air, or enjoy the intimacy of Florence with panoramic view from its hills with a rare and special quietness that can be found only here.

BY CAR
Florence city.
Follow the signs for Siena. At Porta Romana, follow the signs for Poggio Imperiale, S. Felicità a Ema, Impruneta. After passing Pozzolatico and Mezzomonte and Monteoriolo, take the right at Via Riboia, after 500 metres, passing a narrow, at number 6-8 (third gate on the right) you find the entrance to Podere le Cave.

Autostrada del Sole (A1) exit Firenze-Certosa.
Main road Superstrada Siena-Firenze exit Firenze.
Follow the signs for Greve in Chianti. At the village Tavarnuzze take the left for Impruneta. Take a left at the beginning of the village for Pozzolatico. After 2.7 km, before the village of Monteoriolo, take a left at Via Riboia. After 500 metres, passing a narrow, at number 6-8 (third gate on the right) you find the entrance to Podere le Cave.

BY TRAIN
At the central station of Florence (Santa Maria Novella) go to the bus stop of the CAP buses, which will take you to Impruneta (important cap Impruneta - Pozzolatico) and you have to stop in Monteoriolo than 700 meters there is Via Riboia 6 PODERE LE CAVE. You can also choose to take a taxi from the train station and you will spend about 25 €uro.

At the airport of Florence you take the ATAF bus to the end-station, Santa Maria Novella train station. At the central station of Florence (Santa Maria Novella) go to the bus stop of the CAP buses which, will take you to Impruneta (important cap Impruneta - Pozzolatico) and you have to stop in Monteoriolo than after 700 meters there is Via Riboia 6 PODERE LE CAVE.
