Directions From Cork Airport

A Taxi from the Airport to Kinlay House Cork will cost approximately ?15.00 and take about 15-20 minutes. There is also a Public Bus Service to the Bus Station operating approximately every hour throughout the day. A Single fare is €3.40 and return €5.50.

Directions From The Bus and Train Stations

We are a 10 minute walk from both the bus and train stations. If you are carrying heavy luggage we suggest you take a taxi which will cost approximately ?6.00

Walking from the train station - Turn left out of the train station and walk straight ahead through MacCurtain Street and Coburg Street, through the next junction and up the steps onto John Redmond Street. Turn right and follow the street uphill to the traffic lights. There are steps leading to the hostel on the left at the lights. About a 15 minute walk.

Walking from the bus station - Turn left out of the bus station onto Merchants Quay. Follow the river along pass the first bridge and when you come to the second bridge cross over and turn left onto Pope's Quay. Turn right up the hill onto John Redmond Street. Continue up the hill and around the corner to the traffic lights. There are steps leading up to the hostel on the left at the lights. About a 10 minute walk.

From Dublin by Car

You will arrive into Cork on the Dublin Road (Glanmire Road). Turn left to follow the one-way system, keeping the River Lee on your left. After the fourth bridge turn right up the hill onto John Redmond Street. Take the second street on your left - at the Shandon Court hotel (a continuation of John Redmond Street). Go to the top of the street and turn right and right again. Kinlay House is just behind the Shandon Bells (ST Anne's Church).
