The staff are helpful and friendly, the facilities were clean, and the big kitchen area made it easy to meet people and socialize. You can see it right when you come off the ferry and it's centrally located on the island. I'd recommend renting bikes at the front desk. Breakfast is included in the fee and the water heater...

You can see it right when you come off the ferry and it's centrally located on the island. I'd recommend renting bikes at the front desk. Breakfast is included in the fee and the water heater is always available for making tea. The internet can be finicky, but as long as you don't plan on spending all your time in front of a screen, you should be okay!

one good thing about it is location- its only 5 minutes walk from the pier, so may be easily found in the dark without knowing a proper direction.

building is old and you may notice it by special smell of the wood filled with ocean solt, therefore its in good condition apart from running tap in the bathroom. it has surprisingly tiny tiny rooms. im not a tall, but hardly could seet on the bed. no security looks. good kitchen. exellent wi-fi signal in your room! So for those who don't need much comfort and prefer stayind outside hostel is ok.

There was one in the bathroom but 4 girls in one room getting ready need more than 1 mirror. Were weren't best impressed when a chap rapped on the door at 10am to tell us we had 10mins ...

There was one in the bathroom but 4 girls in one room getting ready need more than 1 mirror. Were weren't best impressed when a chap rapped on the door at 10am to tell us we had 10mins to check out. We weren't told when we checked in that check out time was that early. If we had known we would have been more prepared. Other than that cant fault it. Ideal location.

Hostel was very near the port, which is excellent! There's only wifi in the reception, and no where to sit, though you can probably get it from the TV room a short distance away. Free breakfast with coffee/tea and toast, but good enough :)

My only complaints are that the temperature of the room was cold (and we could not control it) and the hot water was extremely scarce. The worst thing to return to after a damp and rainy day of exploring is a cold room and an even colder shower.

I enjoyed my stay but even though the price was great, I still thought the 4 bed ensuite was VERY tight for space. Wished it could have been a little bigger, other than that it was what we expected and the staff were great. Thanks, Dan
