Butterfly Hostel&Guesthouse
Our hostel lies between two important and busy interchanges called Nyugati pályaudvar (Western Railway Station) and Oktogon. From one of these interchanges it only takes a few minutes to walk to our hostel.

1. From Oktogon: When you arrive to Oktogon (the big interchange), walk a little bit on Teréz körút street and turn right onto Aradi utca street. Go along and when you’re at the second corner turn left onto Csengery utca street.
2. From Nyugati pályaudvar station (Western Railway Station): Come out of the station and turn left onto Teréz Körút street. When you get to the next corner (Podmaniczky utca street) take a left onto Podmaniczky utca street. Go along and when you’re at the second corner turn right onto Csengery utca street.

• From Keleti pályaudvar station (Eastern Railway Station): Take the bus (nr. 5, 7, 7E, 173, 173E) or the metro 2 (red metro line) or walk to Blaha Lujza tér. Then take the tram nr. 4 or 6 to Oktogon station.
• From Déli pályaudvar station (Southern Railway Station): Take the metro 2 (red metro line) to Széll Kálmán tér station. From here you can take the tram number 4 or 6 to Nyugati pályaudvar.
• From the airport Ferihegy 1 (Liszt Ferenc Nemzetközi Repülotér): Take the train ( http://www.mav-start.hu/english/index.php ) from the airport that takes you to Nyugati Pályaudvar station (25 minute long journey, trains leave in every 30 min).
• Ferihegy 2 (Liszt Ferenc Nemzetközi Repülotér): Take the 200E shuttle bus heading to Kobánya-Kispest, from here you can get the metro 3 (blue metro line) to Nyugati Pályaudvar station. Take the exit at the metro marked as Teréz körút.
• From Népliget bus station: You can take the metro 3 (blue metro line) to Nyugati Pályaudvar station.
• From Stadionok bus station: Take the metro 2 (red metro line) to Blaha Lujza tér station. From here you can take the tram number 4 or 6 to Oktogon.
• Public transportation at night: First of all, please don’t come at night! :) But, if you don’t have any chance to arrive at daytime, you have to know the metros/buses/trams generally run until 23:00 o’clock (11pm). After this time you have to use the night buses or taxi.
