The trip to get to us is a wonderful experience because there is a beautiful ship that goes and comes from Agia Marina to Piraeus (or from Piraeus to Aegina and then take a bus to Agia Marina - for about 15 min) and you can see the wonderful aspects of our island and the magnificent evergreen forests.

The island of Aegina is in the middle of the Saronic Gulf and is a cultural crossroads for thousands of years. In antiquity, the island of Aegina was one of the most powerful city-states and cut off the first currencies - the silver "turtles."

Today, the island of Aegina seems to be taken out from film, with picturesque houses, alleys, fertile soil, hills with trees, and deep blue sea. Aegina is also known for its pistachios (which are very tasty), for the local fish, but also for many other local products.

On the east coast of the island, is the Agia Marina, a lively seaside village and popular tourist destination of the island, just 25 minutes from the town of Aegina.

The Agia Marina is the most beautiful and famous tourist destination and is located on the east side of the island of Aegina. It is beautiful, with sandy beaches and shallow waters, which extend from the port just around the coast, to the old port where the small chapel of St. Marina, which gave its name to the region.

The coast of Agia Marina is protected from the surrounding mountains, the vast sandy beach that forms a semicircle and tilts gently to the crystal clear water is ideal for swimming.
