Although the location was very good and most of the staff very helpful our booking was messed up and we had to move hostel for 1 night which wasn't so great. Also the facilities weren't that great- the kitchen although big hasn't got a proper oven. However this was more than made up for by the brilliant atmosphere and the friends which we made whilst staying at Woodstock!

A car hung from the wall in the lobby, beer in the fridge and a quaint little outdoor smoking area caught my attention. The rooms were nice, beds firm, (bring sheets and flip flops if you stay here). The breakfast consisted of bread, jam and coffee or hot chocolate. The location was very close to the metro, making it a breeze to get anywhere in Paris. I definently recommend this place if you are traveling to Paris!

this hostel is located really close to the centre, you can reach everthing by walking. the rooms are simple but ok. you can say you get what you can expect for that price.

Location is really near from Montmartre, which is very nice. Tho, 1 shower for 12-18 ppl is really not enough. Free breakfast & WI-Fi is nice, but internet works half the time. Rooms are very clean, but it's noisy outside, for that it's just next to a lively street overnight.

as with any hostel experience its the people staying there that will make or break it - i had 2 good nights then people rotated out and i was so ready to leave - that being said the hostel had the following problems: -despite having to be out between 11am and 3 pm every day for cleaning, nothing ever seemed much cleaner than when i had left. not the dirtiest place ever but the bathrooms could use some work -along the sames lines as the cleaning, my friends and i are confident the cleaning guy was rummaging through our things and one guy lost a lot of money (utilize the safe at the front desk for any valuables) - no lockers are available in your room -the main common spaces close relatively early (the courtyard at 10 and the kitchen/dining room at 12) and the overall curfew is 2 am -the layout is awkward. sinks and mirrors are in the bedrooms rather than in the bathroom so being woken up by your roommates is unavoidable -internet usage is slow and overpriced -only half the staff are helpful and friendly despite all these problems i would still say it was a decent place to stay. obviously just keep your wits about you as you would in any hostel and you should be fine. great location for nightlife (probably could be closer to touristy stuff, but likely for more €)

There was only one shower per floor which could be quite inconvenient, but there was a sink in our room which was useful. The location was excellent and the free maps at reception were very useful. The lock out between 11am and 3pm is strictly held to, don't expect them to clean around you, you will be continually (but politely) asked to leave until you do. I've stayed in better hostels but also in a lot worse, all round pretty good value for money, particularly for the great location in Paris.

Good hostel, if your not to picky. The hostel has a really annoying curfew at 2 am and you have to leave the hostel every day at 11 am. So there is no going out late and sleeping in!
