The award winning Hatters hostel is now open 1 year and has established itself as Manchester's best and most friendly hostel(winner of 2004 Manchester Tourism Outstanding Customer Care award). Located in the city centre close to all train and bus routes - 5 minutes from Piccadilly train station and even less to the National Express coach station - The Hatters is the best suited budget accommodation for independent travellers and groups in the Manchester region. Manchester is close to England's North West Peak and Lake districts as well as only 45 minutes from Liverpool and is now regarded as the UK's most exciting city. The city is filled with independent record shops, live music venues (every night something is going on right at our doorstep in the Northern Quarter) as well as great restaurants, nightclubs, bars and heaps of other stuff. Visit the Dry Bar where Manny got his pistol out, find out why Morrissey was so miserable and the current state of 808. The live music scene in Manchester really is as good as anywhere else in the country right now...
