In our experience as a group of six we were placed in two bedrooms as booked but were 2 rooms that were 5 floors away from each other. In the building there is no lift which led to us taking up the luggage up four flights (the building has seven levels) and when we asked for help from the staff they said that it would not be possible for them to help us.
Apart from this impossible mission we had to go up very narrow staircase with the luggages. Another big problem that we found was that the bathrooms had bath tubs with no mixers for the water, either hot or cold which was a health and safety hazard since we couldnt all use the showers provided (due to personal reasons), no bath plugs available for those that want to take a relaxing bath. A toilet brush that looked like it was around from the day that the hostel opened. Cracked walls and ceilings, burnt out lights that were not replaced. The actual baths are high and people with mobility issues would have a hard time trying to have even a shower. The only available televisions are either in the lobby or else down near the breakfast area in the basement. Wifi connection wasn't even available in public areas (like it is advertised all around the hostel) with the connection dropping every other second or non existent. On the first day we found 2 towels and a floor towel which were a good addition, we asked if there was any extra charges but they said no and that they would be replaced daily. In the twin room, on the first day the used towels (1 large and 1 floor towel)were collected but replaced with a floor towel instead. The following 4 days no matter where we put the towels (bath, floor, infront of the door) no one would replace them which left us with no towels for our whole stay. Apart from our last night there when they gave us 4 towels at one go, which we still did not use as it was our last day there. Apart from the money that we paid for the stay we had to pay to get the key cards . The rooms where dirty mostly the baths and the toilets which we had to wash with bleach to try and get clean and to top it all off one of the rooms had mold all over the ceiling while the other had huge stains all over the fitted carpet whick looked like dried up vomit. In the rooms there was a central heating unit which was very nice during cold weather but during the night it got too hot to a point where after two days i got a fever and we could not lower the heat as the knob for the regulator was broken off. And finally to top it all off on our last day as we were getting ready to leave, a very noisy and irritating out dated fire alarm starts ringing which led us to believe that there was a fire. We went running downstairs where they told us that it was just a test and they said that there were signs that every tuesday they run a fire alarm test. We went to check and no fire alarm warning were found in the rooms or in the stairs. The bunk beds in the quad room did not have a ladder to allow comfy access to the top bunk. The general up keep of the place leaves alot to be desired because if the place was taken care of and looked after properly it is a gold mine.
Personally the stay at this hostel was a great waste of our money as it was not a cheap stay and with the money we spent there we could have gone to a better and higher standard hotel. I wish i could say good things about the place as i personally had once visited the place 5 years ago and it changed drastically (to the worse) unfortunately which led to great disappointment.
I personally will not recommend this place to someone who is travelling for a relaxing holiday as our stay was just extremely stressful and basically destroyed. Sorry for being negative but i couldnt have been positive. Thanks good night!

The sheets with clean, but everything else was grimy. Carpet was disgusting, and the one thing blanket on each look so brown and grey I did not want to even touch it. Water in the shower was on a pushbutton, which is fine. However, the cold water varies consistently, such that 15 seconds or so after pressing the button, I was scalded. The only way around this was to have a cold shower.
I am with a youth hostel, so I am used to hostel conditions. When I am invited to pay £60 for private room, however, I expect something brighter, lighter and cleaner.

The worst hotel I?ve ever have slept. Mattress are old and beds make noise when you move. I tried to cancel but the supervisor doesn?t work on weekends! And nobody can help you with that. Send an E-mail, they said. Horrible experience!!! I am convinced that the error was mine choosing a hotel such as this one!!

I won't even start doing the long list here. Visit a few hostels in London like the wombats or the publove or others around the globe and you will have your own very long list. Wish I know about the kind of service that I was going to get before doing the booking.

We were all the weekend without wi-fi. Furthermore, one day without energy, light, etc. And we could not charge the devices which we needed to do tourism. They did not give us some facilities or compensations.
Anyway, little bedrooms and the bethroom was a shit.

I just want to mention 1 point :
* bathrooms should be renovated for better quality services and facilities, however every thing was more than amazing ????????.
Although the wifi was not working , I enjoyed every single minute during my stay.
Many thanks for every thing
