The bathrooms smelled really bad and the walls were dirty. Other than that, hostel's staff was kind and gave away good information. I just went to the hostel to sleep but for that price I would have gotten something better, specially on cleanliness and facilities.

Nos atendieron muy bien y atentos, aunque nadie hablaba nada de español. Aunque encontremos nuestras camas limpias y bien, echemos de menos un poco más de limpieza.

The hostel is located 5 minutes from the old town, great! Breakfast is very good.

Unfortunately there were vomit stains on our carpet and only one of three showers worked, they also filled with water. For a day there was no toilet paper. Directions Travellers Hostel Dlouha

From the airport:

The best way is to take a shuttle bus from the airport; it is right outside
the exit from the airport.
It is a white van, company name Cedaz, AIRPORT-CENTRUM on the side of the van.
It costs 90 CZK (3 EUR) to get to Namesti Republiky, then you get off, go Revolucni str. towards to the river and after few hundred of meters turn to the left to Dlouha street, walk another 150 m
and it will be on the right side of the street, next to the famous club
Roxy. If you get lost, ask for Roxy, everybody knows where it is.
The shuttle could drop you off by our door, but it would be 360 (12 EUR) CZK instead of 90 CZK (3 EUR).
If you want to take a taxi, the price shouldn?t be more then 500-600 CZK (15-18 EUR).

Or by public transportation:

Take a bus # 119 from the airport to the last stop Dejvicka, it will drop you off right by metro, take a metro Line A for 3 stops, get off at STAROMESTSKA and walk KAPROVA, through the OLD TOWN SQUARE, continue to DLOUHA street and hostel is after 300 m on the left hand side.
Just buy a 12 CZK ticket; it is good for any public transportation for 60 minutes.


From the Main Train Station - Hlavní Nádrá?í:


take a tram no. 5 direction center for 3 stops, get off at Dlouha Trida stop, and across the street to the left, you will be on Dlouha street and our hostel is after 150 m on the right hand side, next to the Roxy club. In case you get lost, ask for Roxy, everybody knows where it is.

From the Hole?ovice Train Station - Nádra?í Hole?ovice:

take a tram no. 14, direction center, for 5 stops, or tram no. 5, direction center, for 8 stops, get off at Dlouha Trida stop, and walk straight and take a first street to the right, you will be on Dlouha street and our hostel is after 150 m on the right hand side, next to the Roxy club. In case you get lost, ask for Roxy, everybody knows where it is.

From the Florenc Bus Station:

take a subway, Line B, for one stop, get off at NAMESTI REPUBLIKY, walk on REVOLUCNI street along the tram tracks towards the river, and the second street to the left will be DLOUHA street. Hostel is located after 150 m on the right hand side, next to the Roxy club. In case you get lost, ask for Roxy, everybody knows where it is.
