I don't know why they keep selling the rooms if the hostel is full...to make more money?.. Staff found a free room for us in another hostel, which is just the worst hostel in the world. The location is "awesome".. we spent 3 hours to find it, other unlucky travelers told us, that they spent more than 6 hours for that. The hostel smells very badly.. the room was clean though but cold. Staff doesn't speak English at all, and never sit on her place. When we complained about the hostel and price (no discount at all, even though we booked room for 2 persons they gave us room for 4 people) the staff said us if we don't like it we can leave the hostel (in night). Read more ► It was my first experience with the hostel. I do now the other hostel or hotel in Prague but I noticed that the hotel are very experience comparing to other EU hotels. The standard of the room in A1 hostel was very low (maybe it is Prague standard). In other EU hotels for the same price the standard is higher. I now it is not a Marriot but I was disappointed a little. My opinion of the room - sordidness of waal, dark room, not nice smell. But reception was very nice and helpful. A1 Hostel and Hotel
Our hostel is situated 3 underground stops from the centre. 

From airport

• Take bus number 100 to subway stop "Zlicin"
• From zlicin take subway (line B) to the stop Palmovka
• Take exit to the street "Na Zertvach" then turn right into "Vacinova" street and when you come to the street "Sokolovska" turn left. Our hotel is the yellow buidling on the other side of the street. (about 200m)

• Take subway to the stop Florenc (line C), change to the line B and take subway to the stop Palmovka (Line B)
• Take exit to the street "Na Zertvach" then turn right into "Vacinova" street and when you come to the street "Sokolovska" turn left. Our hotel is the yellow buidling on the other side of the street. (about 200m)

• Take tram 12 or 15 to the stop Palmovka
• Go up the street "Zenklova" then turn leftto the street "Sokolovska" street. Our hotel is the yellow buidling on the right side of the street. (about 300m)

• Take subway to the stop Palmovka (Line B)
• Take exit to the street "Na Zertvach" then turn right into "Vacinova" street and when you come to the street "Sokolovska" turn left. Our hotel is the yellow buidling on the other side of the street. (about 200m)

• Take highway (magistrala) to the city centre
• Take exit to the city part "Karlin" then follow "Sokolovska" street. Our hotel is the yellow buidling on the right side of the street if you go from the city centre. (about 3km)
