The hostel has indeed a great location and is good value for money but it should be known that it is a student hostel during the akademic year so you sholud expect according standard.

I only had problems with the tempo of the cleaning up, because some others from abroad made a lot mess in the kitchen and we just tried to jump over it, during the breakfast making. I had a great time at this hostel. The staff is outstanding and very helpful, they booked some tours for me by phone and e-mail.It is very close to the Westbahnhof, just 5 stops from the city center. I would recommend this to anyone who's willing to have a fun time in Vienna.

very helpful staff and good at translating, most things quite clean but kitchen was a tip, but still useable, left luggage was not very secure at all.

Key system was a little odd but seemed to work. Bathroom was never cleaned and hadn't seemed to be since the students moved out, but we stayed on the first night so the staff seemed to be just finding their feet. Breakfast was pretty paltry. Nice/easy walk into town.

The location is good unless you come in a car. The hostel is not far from subway stations and does not have parking places. It's very hard to park in the street in Vienna. Wireless internet in the hostel was free but unreliable. Look what's for breakfast before you pay for it.

The atmosphere was really nice : a welcoming drink was provided and the staff was really kind. The private room was large and clean. The bathroom was not perfectly clean (water conduit problem) but it was okay. It is close to main shops streets and the underground station. Nice place to stay !

From Sudbahnhof (Southern Railway Station):
- Take 9 stops by tram 18 (20 min) the stop where you need to get off is Mariahilfergürtel. From the tram stop it takes about 3 minutes to walk to our hostel.
From Westbahnhof: (Western Railway Station)
- Cross the Mariahilfergürtel, then take right and walk down on Bürgerspitalgasse.
From the airport:
- You can either take an airport bus (7 EUR per person) till Westbahnhof (west train station), or you can take the train S7 until Wien Mitte, and then change to the subway U3 (3,40 EUR per person).
By taxi from the airport to the hostel costs 27 EUR.
