Xiaoning o. 2010/08/29	Very nice stay overall, apart from the laundry room which we had problem with. The way to buy credit and actually using the machines were confusing, and one of them didn't have instruction in English. Barely any space in the 3 people ensuite. If you ask for the key at the reception, they don't ask for your name or ID. + The location is absolutely fabulous. it is easy to find and it only takes a 10 minute walk to get to the center. Breakfast is totally ok for 4 euros, nothing to complain about. The rooms are clean and the facilities are totally ok. The bathroom is pretty small though... I would recommend the hotel. Of course, you can't expect any luxury, but for the price you pay the service and facilities are good! There is no reception, only a table in a hall with one girl and many waiting turists. It is not the turist hostel, it is the boardinghouse (school hostel). In the very little bathroom was a toilet and a shower together and all was from plastic - something what use the workers on house constructions. Absolutely it is not good value for that money - not for 59 euro for a double room, I would pay only about 20 euro for it! Directions

Muffin Hostel
Only 15 minutes of pleasant walk separates the Muffin Hostel and the very centre of Salzburg! Now all you need to know is how to get to the hostel itself.
From the train station:
Take the trolleybus number 1 in the direction of 'EM Stadion' (the trolleybuses usually go in ten minutes intervals). Take off at the ninth stop called Moosstrasse. Go down the Moosstrasse (street) for about 300 meters (in the direction of raising house numbers) before turning left into Sinnhubstrasse. You need to pass the crossroads with Leopoldskronnstrasse and after about 200meters turn right into Hegiggasse. The hostel is at the end of this street.
From the airport:
Take the trolleybus number 2 in the direction of Hauptbahnhof (train station) and get off at the Hauptbahnhof stop. Then follow the directions above.
By car:
Get off the highway at exit 292. On the roundabout turn into B155/Muenchener Bundesstrasse in the direction of Salzburg Mitte. After about 2 km turn into B1/Rudolf Biebl Strasse and then straight for about 2,2 km. The street names will be changing as following: Rudolf-Biebl-Strasse - Aiglhofstrasse - Eduard-Baumgartner-Strasse - Moosstrasse. Then turn left into Nussdorferstrasse . 200m later turn into Leopoldskronstrasse and after another 600m turn left into Leopoldskroner Allee. When you get to the roundabout turn left into Sinnuhubstrasse and after another 700m turn into Heigigasse (this turn is not well visible, drive carefully!).
