Riverlodge is situated in historic buildings, located on the edge of
the wetlands; fresh air and open space are abundant. Chill out in a
hammock in our secluded hidden garden. We have the largest secure "in
city" camping area, 4x4's and tents welcome, providing you with privacy
and tranquility.
We are centrally located to all of Cape Town's attractions. We are a 3 minute walk to Pinelands railway station and minutes away from the city centre and airport.
Enjoy a free drink on arrival at our vibey bar, sample our hearty meals and experience our famous weekly braai's (BBQ's.)
Whether you're looking for adrenalin based activities, cultural tours, penguin kayaking and Shark cage diving, our friendly staff will book tours, trips and services to ensure you have a great stay.
Relax in front of our cosy fireplace in the evenings. Payphone, satellite TV, internet, hot showers, self catering kitchen, fresh Linen and lockers in each room with 24hr security are among some of the amenities we offer.
There are many activities to keep you entertained in the eco village, swimming, horse riding. Meals at the farm stall in an outdoor country setting.

Need a reason to get to this happening, alternative village? Try these for starters! It oozes Soul in its diverse, eclectic community who live on the old working farm and mill site. It's Organic with bee-keeping courses, horse riding, organic gardens, farm stall and a wetland bird sanctuary. It's "To-Do" list includes some unusual tidbits such as workshops (think belly dancing and art studios), volunteering options and a petting zoo.
