The GOMIO.COM Phonecard
Cheap Calls Around the World
The European Hostel Cooperation is extremely proud to present a new service for hostels, the GOMIO.COM Phonecard. Hostels now have the opportunity to provide for their guests a phonecard that offers cheap calls around the world for travellers, whilst giving excellent conditions for the resellers.
How it works for the User
The GOMIO.COM phonecard is an International Phone Card, which means it can be used in any country to call any country. Wherever the phone call is made the rates remain the same, which means the traveller knows how much they are paying regardless of where they might be. For example, calls to Europe or North America cost 6 cents a minute from anywhere in the world, which compares favourably with other phonecard providers…the GOMIO.COM Phonecard really is cheap!
If you would like to get an overview of the cost of calls using the GOMIO.COM Phonecard, then check out: GOMIO.COM Phonecard - Rates.
How it works for Resellers
Hostels can buy a minimum of ten cards from GOMIO.COM for €8 per card. The value of each card once it is activated is €10 (the recommended retail price). Once hostels have received their order of cards they inform GOMIO.COM of the fact and the cards will be activated and are then ready to be sold.
Shipping costs between €2.50 and €4.50 to Europe, although anyone who orders 100 cards or more will get their shipping for free.
More Information
If you would like to learn more about the GOMIO.COM Phonecard, and get an overview of the rates, terms and conditions, and other information, visit GOMIO.COM Phonecard Website.
If you are a hostel in Switzerland there is a special GOMIO.COM Phonecard page just for you, check out: Swiss GOMIO.COM Website

Apartments on GOMIO.COM
For those of you who have apartments in your hostels, and would like to make them available on GOMIO.COM, well you now can. A new feature has been added to the management system, which allows hostels to add apartments as well as dorms and private rooms. You can do this under “Rooms” on the GOMIO.COM Management System, when you click on “Add Private Room”. You will find three options: shared, en suite, and apartment. Availability and prices are set exactly like the other categories.
